Why the Robison Mansion?
The Robison Mansion is located in one of the best climate areas of Colorado, with very few days of rain, moderate temperatures for most of the year and surrounded by stunning views and numerous activities for your group to enjoy.
The Robison Mansion is an ideal spot for weddings, as the wedding party and family can use the mansion to get ready and share private time together in the ambiance of the lovely Victorian home prior to the wedding.
One of the best reasons to consider the Robison Mansion for your wedding or event is that we provide the lovely venue while leaving the choice of decoration, food, beverage and music up to you. You're free to customize your event to your own wishes without having to limit your choices to ones we provide.

Can we stay overnight in the Robison Mansion?
Yes. The Robison Mansion can accommodate 8 to 10 guests, 3.5 bathrooms, 3 ornamental fireplaces, and a modern kitchen featuring Viking appliances.
What are the payment terms?
50% of balance is due upon booking. Remaining 50% is due 45 days prior to your arrival date. If booking within 45 days of arrival, full payment is due at time of booking.
Do you offer special pricing for weddings held on days other than Saturdays?
Special offers are available during certain times of the year. We would like to work with you to customize a wedding that best suits your style and budget.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Any cancellation received 45 days or more prior to the commencement of the lease term will forfeit deposit or 50% of published rates. Specials subject to forfeiture of deposit amount equal to “Non-special” published prices. Cancellation received less than 45 days prior to the commencement of the lease term will result in the forfeiture of the full rental amount, whether paid or owing as of the date of cancellation.
Are pets allowed?
The Robison Mansion will allow pets to be in your ceremony. However, we do ask that after the ceremony, they be kenneled or returned to your home. We do not allow pets in the Robison Mansion or Carriage House itself, unless they are considered service animals covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Can I rent the grounds only? Or the Carriage House only?
Yes, The Robison Mansion approaches each and every event as a singular experience. Set pricing can't possibly address or encumbrance everyones individual needs. That's why we always take the time to craft a custom event that attends to your particular requirements and budget.
What is considered an event?
Over 25 guests entering Robison Mansion will be considered an event, Event fees will apply and Event Insurance is highly recommended.
How many guests can be accommodated for an event?
This question is subjective. The Robison Mansion includes two large buildings and a tent site. The Robison Mansion is 6500 square feet and the Carriage House is 4500 square feet. The grounds are approximatley 3.5 acres, of which includes a half acre tent site.
Do you schedule more than one event at a time?
Weddings have exclusive use of the mansion and property during their timeframe. We feel strongly that the wedding party and family should have private and exclusive use of the entire venue for their special day without interference. We can, however, accommodate more than one small meeting or event at a time.
How many Robison Mansion staff will work my event?
None typically. You have exclusive use of the Mansion. Our staff is available to you via email, text or phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is no “monitoring” of your event or stay. Staff is not on site unless you have requested such in advance.
Does the Robison Mansion provide additional services?
We feel each event requires its own unique style. You may use the caterer, florist, and musician or DJ of your choosing as well as making the decision if you need to arrange for tables, chairs and place settings from the vendor of your choice. This allows the most flexibility within a budget, and offers the most value to you. In addition, this allows families and companies to tailor their own events to their unique needs. However additional services are available on our "packages" page.
Are we required to hire vendors from your recommended list?
No. You are free to hire anyone you wish (providing they are within the parameters of the types of vendors we allow, for example, services needing special permission).
Am I allowed a cash bar?
We offer a fully staffed bar in the Carriage House, but you must bring your own alcohol to enjoy inside the Mansion. Note: there are one-day liquor licenses available for special events having cash bars. Please check with local authorities to see if you qualify.
Why doesn’t Robison Mansion provide catering?
We feel each client should have a large variety of choices, although we do have several preferred catering services. This allows the most flexibility within a budget, and offers the most value to the client. In addition, this allows families to self-cater their own events.
Am I required to have event insurance?
It is highly recommended. If you are having an event (25 guests or more), Event Insurance is highly recommended. Our insurance protects us, your event insurance protects you.
